Born from the realities of hosting
We started Caledonia Cleaning Co. because we kept hearing the same story from Edinburgh hosts: cleaners who didn't show, standards that drifted, changeovers missed, and review scores that slipped as a result. In a city with some of the highest short-let occupancy in Europe, that kind of unreliability isn't just frustrating — it directly costs hosts money.
So we built something different. A cleaning company engineered around the realities of short-term letting: tight turnaround windows, calendar-driven scheduling, linen logistics, restocking, and a relentless focus on the guest-ready standard that protects reviews and rankings. We don't try to be everything to everyone — we specialise, and we go deep.
